Let’s try this again

So I thought that I should trying running a personal website again. Blogger.com has given me the ability to maintain a personal website without all the time it takes to maintain it. So welcome back to PatrickMoran.com. Sorry for the lack of updates.

On the job front Knockabout Games has decided to close its doors so I have been on a job hunt for the past two weeks. I have already received one offer and I am courting several other companies. I expect to announce my decision shortly.

Music City is in redesign. I found that the effort I was putting into the game was not delivering the quality experience I hope to achieve. I have been playing around in 3D and with some additional technology which may allow me to develop faster. I know that sounds counterintuitive but its true. I have also simplified the mechanics and made the design much more Modular. This will allow me to prototype ideas faster and build in a very interative manner.
